i've somehow missed writing about pretty much all of summer. i'll play catch up at some point but just haven't been up to the task quite yet.

i'll get there eventually.

the weather is getting cooler and the beginnings of fall are starting to emerge.

but i'm loving fall. which is surprising. usually i start wearing black and go into mourning once the weather drops below the 70's. but for some reason, i'm pretty excited to start pulling out fall attire. Once winter hits I might be singing a different tune but right now I'm looking forward to pumpkin, light sweaters, the changing leaves, apple picking (if I can twist Neil's arm) and hot chocolate.

i'm also falling in love with new york more and more every day. it helps when people you love come into town and you get to experience the city through their eyes.

i wish i could explain what it is about this place that makes me love it so much. but every day that i get to walk around it, i find something new to love about it.

you all should come visit sometime (preferably when the sun is shining) and fall in love with the city with me.
